“From our very first conversation, Lisa asked the right questions, took the time to really understand what I was looking for, and, most importantly, listened.
What I appreciated most about working with Lisa was that she wasn’t just trying to find me a house — she really took the time to understand what I wanted and help me find the right place for me.”
Nice to meet you, neighbor.
I’m glad you’re here.
I’m Lisa Nanni, a full-time REALTOR® serving Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. I help Shenandoah Valley buyers and sellers navigate life’s transitions with thoughtful strategy, local insight, and clear guidance every step of the way.
My family and I made our own move to this beautiful region years ago, and I understand the excitement, decisions, and emotions that come with finding the right place to call home. Whether you’re buying your first home, relocating to the Valley, selling a home filled with memories, or preparing for your next chapter, I’m here to provide the guidance, communication, and strategic support you need along the way.
My career path may be unconventional, but the thread connecting everything I’ve done is helping people navigate complex decisions through communication, organization, and thoughtful planning. Before real estate, I worked in Hollywood as a TV Producer, managing complex productions with demanding timelines and many moving parts. Later, I became an Associate Professor and Program Head in Communication Studies and Theater, where I taught communication, presentation, performance and leadership skills. These experiences shaped the way I serve my clients today—with strategic planning, attention to detail, and a commitment to keeping people informed every step of the way.
For buyers, that means helping you understand your options, discover what makes the Shenandoah Valley special, and confidently choose a home that fits your goals. For sellers, it means creating a thoughtful strategy to prepare, position, and market your home so it stands out and connects with the right buyers.
I’m passionate about helping people experience life in the Shenandoah Valley. Through my YouTube series highlighting Home, Lifestyle, Work, and Community, I’ve shared an authentic look at what makes this area special—from the places we live to the people who make this region feel like home.
Beyond the transaction, I love connecting clients with trusted local resources that make moving and living in the Shenandoah Valley easier. I’m also proud to serve as the Pastures District board member for the Augusta County Library and to be part of the community I call home.
Outside of real estate, you’ll find me cooking, baking, writing, volunteering for my church and community, or spending time with my family and Barnie, our tuxedo cat (who’s convinced he’s a dog). Writing remains one of my favorite creative outlets—I’m a published writer of plays, short stories and films. You may recognize my Hallmark movies, Holiday for Heroes and Christmas Homecoming.
